Founded in 2011, Zangouleh Music School was built on a vision to preserve Persian musical heritage while embracing the full spectrum of world music. We are more than a school — we are a cultural home.

Zangouleh Music School founded in Toronto — beginning a journey of musical excellence rooted in Persian heritage.
2013
Expanded instrument offerings to include Western instruments — Piano, Guitar, Violin, Drums, and Voice.
2014
First annual student concert — a landmark moment establishing our performance tradition.
2016
Participation in Tirgan Festival, connecting students to the broader Iranian diaspora community in Toronto.
2018
Music Wellness Program launched — expanding our mission beyond performance into healing through music.
2020
Recording Studio opened on premises, giving students professional-grade production experience.

Student & Teacher Portal introduced — bringing digital tools for tracking sessions, attendance, and certificates.

Tirgan Festival
Zangouleh students perform annually at Tirgan, one of the world's largest Persian arts and cultural festivals, held at Harbourfront Centre in Toronto.

We regularly host guest master musicians — giving students direct access to world-class performers and educators beyond our resident faculty.
